Hey,  My name is Justin.  This website is going to be about Down syndrome and the many things that effect kids with DS.  My family was very blessed to get a little girl named Emily.  Emily is 15 and has Down syndrome.  Emily is one of the loves of my life.  I can not imagine this world without her.  So I just thought I would introduce to the star of this page.  Thanks for coming.

What kids with Down Syndrome like to do

They like to play outside and inside equally.  Emily plays basketball,baseball,soccer,gymnastics,bowling,and football.  She likes to play in her room and listen to music.  Because kids with DS do not get very much attention from their peer they begin to make up their own friends and talk to themselves.  That is a really big self esteem thing for them.

Some of Emily's Favorite People

Of course, Emily loves her family.  But her favorite person is her big brother Michael.  Michael moved away when Emily was about 8.  So she misses him alot.  She gets to see Michael about once a year, and that makes it hard on her.  Some other people are Aaron carter, Hillary Duff, Sean Hunter from Boy Meets World, and All of the Backstreet Boys.

Favorite Movies and T.V. Shows

Emily loves the Disney Channel.  Her favorite shows on there are Boy Meets World, Kim Possible, Proud Family, Even Stevens, and Thats So Raven. The movies are Cheaper by the Dozen, Princess Diaries, all of the Mary-Kate and Ashley movies.
